International patients

A clear route from records review to coordinated follow-up.

Complex reconstruction requires enough information, appropriate timing and continuity with the physicians already responsible for your care.

01

Initial enquiry

Provide a short summary. The secure clinical-document pathway will be confirmed separately; sensitive records should not be sent through a general website form.

02

Clinical review

Relevant reports, photographs, imaging and operative history are reviewed first. A video consultation can then help clarify goals and whether an in-person reconstructive assessment is appropriate.

03

Consultation and coordination

Options, limitations, timing and follow-up are discussed and, when appropriate, coordinated with the treating team in the patient’s home country. Treatment takes place within a hospital with multidisciplinary support. The timing of return travel depends on wound healing, pain control, general health and any foreseeable procedures. Patients undergoing tissue expansion may need repeated visits; the postoperative stay is planned individually.

Important

Reconstruction must support — not delay — essential treatment.

Urgent, oncologic or ongoing care should continue with the responsible local team unless those clinicians advise otherwise.
